Solidarity Hour... The One with Francesca Fajinmi

Francesca Fajinmi was our Fabulous guest for this Solidarity Hour continuing a powerful discussion with our community about the systemic challenges with racism in our society and workplace and what we can do about it. 

She masterfully moved the discussion from individuals to organizations and hopes to impact government policies in the near future. Among the call to action, she emphasized how executing the following well will go a long way: 

• Zero tolerance for racism, discrimination and harassment

• Commit to Diversity and Inclusion training, no sugar coating allowed, call it what it is - black, brown, white people!

• Commit to pay and opportunity equities 

Asking “What If” has become our rallying cry and we're committing to keeping the conversation going in our day to day lives. As she says, “the battle is not for the weak”. She challenged us to take the battle forward with the work we’re doing at ThinqShift.
