Solidarity Hour... The One with Stephen Hill

Stephen Hill, Former President of Programming for BET Network joined us for Solidarity Hour on 10/5 and what an exhilarating ride! Stephen shared how divine providence aligned a love of all things music, great timing and preparation allowing him to have amazing opportunities in the entertainment industry. From MTV Networks, to leading an extraordinary team at BET and Centric Networks, Stephen was able to harness his high energy and innovative ideas developing original music and special programming setting a high bar for industry.

Personal highs included meeting music idols such as Michael Jackson and Prince, giving us a peak at backstage moments; and words of wisdom from some of the cultural trend makers of our times. 

Given the shifts and focus on Black Lives Matters, it was also interesting to hear his take on the broader opportunities for People of Color in Hollywood and how important the diversity of thought and creative ideas are even more so now. 

It was fun to hear great stories and most importantly, what Stephen considered makes a fabulous vacation trip…an extraordinarily beautiful place, great food and great friends. Join us for a peak inside his fabulous world!
